My nephew LOVES this toy!!
I am the nerdy uncle that is always trying to give the kids something that is educational but also fun. I wasn't sure that my 4 yo nephew would enjoy this as much as some of his other Christmas toys, but his parents tell me that it's the only one he still plays with. He's very enthusiastic about taking into the back yard and looking at EVERYTHING, not just bugs.

I've since bought 4 more for other children and they are always well received. It's convenient that it takes 3 seconds to show the kids how to use and they are off investigating all sorts of things for the next 1-2 hours.

Fun for the whole family
I bought this for my niece on her 7th birthday. She is absolutely the "outdoorsy type". She loved using the bug vacuum and then putting in the scope. The whole family got involved looking for bugs.

Good for the 'bug hunter' in your family.
Another Fun toy for the little 'bug hunter' in your family. Mine really enjoys this. She loves anything 'bug hunting' related. This was just another 'tool' for her to see her bugs up close!
