| Bad Odor The book was fine but it stunk of cigarette smoke or something of the sort. Every time I open the book it smells bad and I hate it. I am only taking this course for the semester but when the course is done the book is going to recycling. Ew October 06, 2008 | | i bought this for collage not light reading i've only done two chapters even so i think modern math is way to complex and need to go away. the old math was better in so meny ways. making moutains out of mole hills is never the way to go. remember k.i.s.s. September 21, 2008 | | Great! Came in excellent condition, very very quick delivery. I was very pleased with the whole transaction, Thank you so much! September 12, 2008 | | Excellent Tool! I used this book for one semester in college when I was required to take 2 math classes to graduate. It had been 5 years since I had last taken a math class, so I started out at a beginners level course using this book. I never understood math until I used this book. It is extremley easy to follow, and explains everything step by step. It also goes over many different subjects so you get a tase of everything, without the overwhelming feeling of being lost. I managed to get a 'B' in that class, and don't think I would have achieved it without this book. The solutions manual was key because there was no waiting around to see if I had solved a problem correctly. A+++ on this book! May 15, 2007 | | Great step by step I enjoyed this book, especially since I had a non-fluent English speaking professor we all looked into our books and read the complete, easy, and understanding chapters. this is one of the best math books I have ever had in my education experience.
