Best book on electric motors EVER 
This is a great book.This book is precise and informative, comprehensive and yet very easy to read. Without laboring over theory, it gets right to the heart of all types of electric motors and controls, covering all facets from classic to futuristic. The author fully understands the field and does not obscure the hard-to-understand areas; rather, the author illustrates the operation of each type of motor in a form that YOU WILL LEARN from, even to the point of following current flow through the motor windings so that you will see the causes of motor operation, and the genius of modern motor design. Even if you think you know all there is to know about how electric motors work, this book will fill the gaps in your understanding.
