Best Intro Microbio Text on the Market
This book is the best intro microbiology textbook I've seen. The author writes in a very straigtforward, no nonsense, yet detailed fashion and explains concepts with a perfect blend of precision and simpicity that other books lack. The book has nice photos and illustrations to support the great writing.

Good book... easy to follow... honeslty haven't had to use it much since my professor makes exams based off the lecture notes!

Bad service
This book was ordered on Sept.4, 2008. The shipping info.indicated the latest date I would receive the book was Sept.26, 2008. It has not arrived. I cancelled my order with Amazon on Sept. 29, 2008. There were no explanations offered by the seller.

Waste of money
I bought this book and never needed it to help me study. It was a waste of my money. I gave it away shortly after I bought it.

Very brief
I was hoping that buying this Study guide would help me get a more organized view on taking notes from the textbook accompanied by it (Microbiology: Principles and Explorations by Black 6th ed.). The outline was very simple and lack more information about the sections in the book. I am kind of disappointed because I make better notes than the one outlined in the book. On the plus side though, it has numerous quizzes which really help a lot in preparing for the test.
