EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Even though the Jesuits exude vast influence and control in the areas of theology, education, recorded history and current media, it is still perplexing that virtually no literature exists exposing the Jesuit's influence on mainline Protestantism. This is what makes "Swarms of Locusts" such a necessary book. In this work the author uncovers forgotten history regarding the cooperative salvation theology of the Jesuits. The author then builds upon these historical truths and clearly exposes how the Jesuits have permeated all denominations of the Protestant Church. From Cain to Charles Finney, this book historically connects-the-dots and undeniably proves that modern Protestantism has abandoned the Doctrines of Grace and embraced the doctrines of cooperative salvation. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 23 reviews)
| Excellent Book This book is a must read for those who understand that the Protestant Reformation and its martyrs has been under attack by the Catholic church since its inception. It shows how this attack has been executed, where it came from, and how it has successfully deceived all mainstream Protestant churches. A real eye-opener. June 13, 2007 | | How Well Do You Know Church History? Don't know much? This book will cure that problem. If you do know your church history, you will know immediately that Mr. Bunker has done his homework. Starting with the earliest infiltration of Jesuit influence on Protestant doctrine, Bunker takes the reader step by step to present day wolves who are leading people astray. With biblical references aplenty to back up all doctrinal statements and practical ways to recognize who are wolves and who are sheep, the reader is given a clear lesson in what is truth and what is deception. A must read for all truth seekers and a real eye opener for those who have been lulled to sleep by the so called "Christian" church. June 12, 2007 | | TRUTH The Truth is a person, and when He resides in you, He screams His Truth from this book!
Well written, and researched, this book draws you into the web that the enemies of our Saviour have so skillfully constructed, and sets you free from its deception.
Sadly, there are reviews of this book, which are devoid of discernment. One, by Mr. Santiago, seems more concerned with the typeset than the informative light thrown upon the subject. He may be a bit more of a Jesuit/Vatican fan than he realizes. When he states that this book is not `objective', we may ask how you might be objective about a roach in your kitchen. Do you stop to consider that the roach may be a good addition to your kitchen, or do you smash it for the corruption you know it will inevitably bring?
We pray God will use this book to open your eyes, and bring you into all knowledge of Truth.
Gods will be done!
June 12, 2007 | | Poor trees This book doesn't worth the paper and ink wasted in it. I'm not exactly what anyone would call a Vatican's fan, and I was trying to find objective data and an informed opinion about the Jesuits. It's not that the author is a fanatic. I could have endured that. It is that the fact are inaccurate, the wording is crappy and boring and even the typography stinks: an almost 15 point Roman type (that's the only funny thing about this book) as the used in books for younger kids.
I'm still looking for some good titles on this topic. August 24, 2006 | | Where does your doctrine come from? Eye opening read! Imagine that you are in your back yard and you see a fly that has flown into your vicinity. You look at the fly but realize it probably isn't worth swatting or pursuing. It meanders around the yard and is joined by another fly. Within minutes there is a swarm of flies all around you. The harder you try to see through the fog of buzzing, biting black masses the thicker the cloud gets. As you flail around in an attempt to rid yourselves of the flies you are overwhelmed by the pain of the bites and the loud buzz created by their swarm. Suddenly, the peaceful and simple life of your backyard has been infested with a plague! You close your eyes and try to run through the thick cloud. As you stumble, you are about to give up and leave your back yard altogether when someone runs up and hoses down the air with bug spray. The flies drop as fast as they entered the scene. You open your eyes again and realize the air is clear.
This may be similar to your experience in the "Christian" culture of America. Many voices, many conflicting doctrines, and a universal mass of ignorance and deceit. The Book "Swarms of Locusts" is perhaps one of the most relevant books of our day. Have you ever wondered if the modern "Say this prayer (make a decision)" gospel is really the real gospel? "Swarms of Locusts" traces the history of the Jesuit attempts to counter the reformation and fill the Protestant churches with foul doctrine...essentially bringing them back to Rome. A "free will" doctrine that lifts up man and minimizes God's power, might, and sovereignty. Much of the gospel preached today is man-centered, and teaches that a dead man can choose life. Consider the case of Lazarus. Lazarus could only come forth from his grave after the command of the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Lazarus, come forth." (See John 11:43). God deserves all the glory for his marvelous mercy in Jesus Christ. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." The origin of other doctrines such as the pretribulation rapture of the Church (i.e. - Left Behind) are shown to be the eventual product of Rome seeking to get others to look elsewhere for the Antichrist. Michael Bunker shows a glimpse into how the Jesuits attempted to show that the antichrist could not be in Rome by creating different interpretive schemes like futurism. It just so happens, that futurism has been reborn and embraced today in the Left Behind theology promoted by countless masses.
The book is historical, factual, and compelling. For those who seek to know how doctrines have changed throughout history this book is an excellent starting point. The book does a good job of exposing what has occurred over time and how the ignorance of our day has reached a climax. More than a simple history, this book explores deep theological truths, and forces the reader to examine their beliefs...and it should ultimately result in going back to see what God's word really says.
Take the time to read this book and be challenged! November 21, 2005 | |
