CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 6 reviews)

Author is not a medical professional
I am surprised reviewers refer to this book as the "thyroid bible". The author is a fitness instructor, hypothyroid patient and mother-of-three with no professional medical training. The publisher who distributes the book has only ONE title... this one. There may be some interesting advice and guidelines, but the author's promotion of ARMOUR over other medications does not apply to everyone. While the language is more familiar and easier to read, I think there are more accurate and more informative books out there for this complex condition than this one.

This book kicks a**
This is an absolute must read for anyone who suffers from hypothyroidism and takes synthroid- this book will help you get off that crap because it doesn't work. EVERY SINGLE doctor should read this book because they have NO idea just how uneducated they are!

THANK GOD FOR THIS BOOK & THE WEB SITE !!!!!
If you have thyroid issues, you HAVE to read this book. It truly is the Thyroid bible and if you care at all about actually getting better this is the way to do. Doctors will leave you sick based on your blood work. This book lets you know in no uncertain terms that if you still feel sick, you still ARE sick. Listen to your body and not a rediculous and meaningless number on a sheet of paper.

Hypothyroid "Bible" of info...
This book is going to become the "Bible" for Hypothyroid people. It's information A-Z about symptoms, treatments available, sources of info, where to order saliva testing, and much, much, more in the palm of your hand! Like the website of the same name, invaluable information. Includes info about adrenal fatigue, often overlooked by Dr.s today in treatment of hypothyroid disease. How to interpret your Saliva tests. Up to date info on treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and if you've recently had RAI, thyroidectomy, or thyroid cancer, you will want to read this book to make sure you are being properly treated, for your hypothyroidism. The addendum is very complete, resources, glossary, and most important..."How to find a good Doctor"
I have read many Thyroid books, but this one I will keep...the other one I keep is, by Hypothyroidism: The Unsuspected IllnessAs another reviewer posted "Read this and get well" I most certainly agree!
