Who knew Algae had so much potential? 
Who knew algae had so much potential for the future? This book gives good insight into what algae can do for the world in solving the problems of fossil fuel depletion and water shortages for growing food. For the most part this book is easy to read and understand although there were a few chapters that I skipped due to the more scientific terminology and detail that was used. However, I was able to gain some good insights into the current uses of algae and more importantly the future potential that algae has. It really opened my eyes to a whole new world of potential fuel and food sources that could eleviate hunger and fuel shortages. If you are interested in learning about a promising new alternative for sustainable food and biofuel this book will give you insight and make you think about the waste that occurs by how the world currently produces food and fuel.

Dr. Edwards has succeeded in giving the reader a strategy, which is well researched and proven science. The author is an example for us all in his passion for a solution and he has positioned himself as a spokesman for change.
