Practical, topical, and helpful
This book was out before the current precipitous upward climb in gas prices. It sets out practical, and easy-to-do things one can do to reduce gasoline comsumption, and quantifies the savings that will result. The writing is direct, easy to understand, and abundantly helpful. Well worth the price of admission!

So Practical
I actually had fun with this book, going through it and noting which tips I already practiced and which ones I could start putting to use. And I actually HAVE put them to use. The author manages to make the reader feel good about every small step taken without feeling guilty about owning and driving a car.
