Standard work on plate tectoncis Condie's work has long been the standard work in plate tectonics. I've just read the 4th edition. As good as the previous editions. However, this is a volume for senior geology majors or graduate students. I hope Condie is contemplating the Millennium edition. One suggestion--re-draft all graphs to have common time scale including geologic time periods. October 11, 2000
