EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Book Description
Tropical fish shimmer across the pages as this cautionary tale counts down from 12 to 0 warning of threats to a fragile ecosystem. One by one fish disappear-where have they gone? Will the fish come back?

Set in Australia's Great Barrier Reef, One Less Fish offers straightforward suggestions for preserving underwater environments and shows how to keep this countdown from coming true. Kim Michelle Toft's stunning silk paintings portray the beauty of an environmental treasure in this unique counting book.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 1 review)

Don't let this one get away!
A beautiful picture/counting book that teaches young people about protecting our sea life. I used it with my first grade art students who helped me count down and discuss what happens to fish when people are careless or thoughtless. The stunning paintings of saltwater fish and their ocean environment inspired my students to create their own works of art and to think about preserving their own environments.
