CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 6 reviews)
| More Hot Stuff to Help Kids Chill Out Excellent read for Late Elementary and Middle School Kids. Lends itself to being read to. Written in children's language. April 27, 2008 | | angry busters This is a workout book for anger management for children and their parents. There are check-lists to pinpoint areas that make you angry. It has exercises to help calm you down and it gives suggestions on how to use anger as a way to make changes. A great guide for 2nd grade-early teens. The black and white drawings are funny but get the point across. Lots of humor helps make this interesting and not a drudge. December 23, 2007 | | Excellent Resource!! I've used this book with both elementary and middle school students for years and it's a great tool for getting through to kids with anger problems. It has spaces for students to record their own responses and they like being able to do that. I've also noticed that students who normally "wouldn't be caught dead" reading a book seem to enjoy this book. The author uses humor throughout the book in an apparent to win over those kids. It works! July 08, 2006 | | Very, very helpful My daughter (age 11) had been having some severe difficulties with anger so I decided to buy this book. Wow! She has made huge progress after we read this book by Jerry Wilde. It's filled with great insights and exercises we completed together. I can't say enough nice things about this book. December 29, 2005 | | Not a good book this book is totally innappropriate for elementary children. It seems to only address anger issues, not stress issues. Not every child gets angry when they are stressed. Some are sad, nervous, or scared. A waste of my money. It is a workbook for a middle school or high school student to do on their own.
