"The Secrets of How To Kill Yourself" 
Maybe some day the author of this book will hit rock bottom and find himself ripping out his decaying teeth with a pair of channel locks in the back shed of his trailer and realize how he has completely wasted his life and many of the other lives that this sham of a book has come in contact with.

Interesting for the curious, but way too advanced for anyone without chemist experience 
I just got the book because I was curious about how it was made (I'm curious about a lot of things that I would never actually make). The new TV series 'Breaking Bad' is what piqued my curiosity (a great show, by the way).
Now, just to give you an idea what you'd be getting here if you order this book, let me give you some info on me... I have an IQ of 130, and graduated with a 4.0 from college many years ago (electronics major), and currently work in computer security for a extremely large international company. I aced college-prep chemistry in high school, but did not take any in college.
I could follow enough of this book to satisfy my general curiosity, but there's no way I could actually make the stuff from reading this book alone (even if I'd wanted). It would definitely take some college level chemistry to follow the book well enough to actually make the stuff without killing yourself. (There are some safety things not mentioned in this book, that are assumed anyone with college chemistry should know... thangs that could literally kill you if you don't know).
Thus my 3 star averaged rating....
It is 'great' if you have a chemistry background... 'good' if you are very smart and just curious (but no chemistry background).... and 'poor' if you are a layperson thinking this book will help you cook up something illegal.

very professional, easy to follow 
If you dont have at least a year of organic chem to your name, or are looking for a quick recipe, dont buy this book. It wont be of any use to you. As for myself, I am a chemistry major and am currently in the midst of my third year of organic chemistry. I find this book easy to follow, all of the procedures in this book that I have preformed worked nicely, and produced product of the highest quality. There are a few unforeseen events that will occur in the labwork, but are easily sidestepped by a good chemist. Most, or all of the lab equipment can be purchased on ebay for very reasonable prices; he also shows you how to manufacture all of your starting materials that would otherwise be almost impossible to purchase. Fester also shows you how to remove from you dope-the pollutants that ruin the finer aspects of methamphetamine. If you dont want to spend months going through the journal of the american chemical society, you should buy this book, which is basically a compilation and expansion of these journals. I highly recommend this book to the experienced dope cook that wants to feel what it's like to pump out his first 400 gram batch of high quality drugs

This book is full of great info if you want to spend large amounts of time in prison and ruin peoples lives with addictive poison.

DISAPPOINTED
I was a bit disappointed with the content of this manual. I thought that it would have given me instructions and recipes in layman terms. These book is designed only chemist, and the trained professional chemist at that.
I work for a drug rehab center in the Virgin Islands and I want my patients to actually see what caustic items go into their systems when they use this stuff
