MOLD INFESTED HOME
Fungus Link: An Introduction to Fungal Disease Including the Initial Phase Diet5 Years ago we moved out of our home after testing revealed extensive mold contamination of the air as well as being hidden in walls. My husband and I both had painful respiratory inflamation, chronic fatigue, allergy indused asthma, and itching burning eyes to the degree that no prescription eye drop could bring relief. We were desperate to recover after finding no help from the medical professionlas in our area. We followed the mold diet as we called it that is presented in this book to a T. We did the phase one diet and took all of the detox herbs mentioned on a rotation basis. The results took time-months. But we recovered and went from not being able to walk a block to walking laps around a track. The cost can be prohibitive with the supplements but the grapefruit seed extract lasts forever and is effective and the least expensive. The book overall can be a bit dry and I find there is a lack of continuity with the chapters. If you have a fungal or and medial problems I would definitly get this book.

The Phase 1 Diet works!
My partner and I go on the diet for 1 month every year.

A part from dramatic weight loss (with solid exercise), its a life changing expeirence requring discipline, and giving you a real feel for your body.

Other reviewers have talked about the more 'scientific aspects' of the book but for nothing else just try the diet.

my case
I have had digestive problems since childhood, later all summer I had red rushes of fungus on my skin in very irritating places, my head skin had flakes and I started to loose hair at 30. I had doctors in my family and I grew up with certain premade ideas, so I was ver skeptical with this book, and it changed my life, all problems are gonne, I am stronger than ever and I have tick hair and ... ooh how to say this? I am potent as a ... young bull. Is there anything else I need to say? I hope I made my point.

Excellent book!
For anyone truly interested in their health and have a genuine desire to understand the truth and information behind the scenes that the doctor loop as I would describe it keeps the patient out of this book is the real deal. Highly recommend this book. The author Doug Kaufmann is genuine and unusually rare in how much he truly cares about the health and well being of his fellow man.

A bit disappointing
I love reading Doug Kaufmann's articles, and I was anxious to get this book. I was rather disappointed, though, as it offered little new information beyond what I'd already read in his articles. It would be a great book for someone who didn't already know a lot about the subject, though.
