Product Description
In this book, the second of the Pastor Wilson novels, the pastor of a small church gets drawn into being a sleuth by both circumstances and his conscience. There is a mysterious person who seems to have an uncanny relationship with the wild deer in the pasture across the road from the parsonage... poachers who shoot at the mysterious person AND endanger the pastor's family... and an unexpected death by poison in front of hundreds of people. The church is in the middle of building a new sanctuary, and one of the workers there is a suspect. Read the book to find out who, and why.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 2 reviews)

I read it in one day!
I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down. It was even better than "Blinded by Darkness," the first one. The characters were so real, so alive and believable, and I felt like I was a part of everyone in the story. They became my friends. It was so refreshing and exciting about real lives: the minister, his wife and baby girl. But what meant a lot to me was that there was no bad language, and you don't find that very often. It is not that I am a prude, but it was a nice change from what is out there. I am qualified to give my opinion because I am a lover of mysteries. His books are so relaxing, but at the same time, exciting. I have read other authors, including Nora Roberts and Anne Perry, and I like Tony's books best. I read this with two other ladies, and we want to read more. Carol A

Murder Most Foul
Rev. Thomas Wilson is a thoughtful and considerate man. His primary focus is his family and the spiritual wellbeing of his congregants. That peaceful scene is ruptured when poachers fire at Thomas's house with buckshot. Deciding that he must learn who would do such a thing and why, his personal investigation leads him to witness strange events across from his home involving someone moving easily among what should be wild deer. Still unable to make sense of what he has seen as well as additional information shared with him by the police, he attends a local high school play for a much needed night out for parents of new baby. As it so happens, he is excessively diverted when a murder of one of the actors takes place on the stage. Are all of these events connected? Rev. Wilson decides that he is going to find out. This is a murder mystery, but the author has no interest in writing about blood and guts. His strong suit is a good plot and character development. That the main character is a minister is no accident. This is the story of a gentle, spiritual man who finds himself confronted with the dark side of human nature.
