CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 5 reviews)

The abridgement
I liked this version better than The Great Illtistrated Classic.

It was more detailed. It had more of the Melville frases as ,"For Hates' sake, be my last breat I spit at thee!"
Anyway, it was better than the other abidgements.

Moby Dick
I have read other people's reviews and I agree with the ones that liked the novel. I enjoyed reading Moby Dick, because it is a detailed and interesting book. I had no problem staying interested in the story, and it made me want to watch the movie, witch I later did with my grandfather.

Melville gives a detailed profile of Moby Dick's personality. He makes the whale seem like a devil. He appears mean and evil. For example pg.91 says, "I shuttered at what I heard the stories of the white whale were true Moby Dick was a killer!" From begging to end to the end, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys adveture books and likes a good story.
