Product Description
What do you do when your medical doctor tells you that you have a terminal illness and to go home and die- there is no cure? The book explains Eric

CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 3.5 based on 8 reviews)

A PURE SCAM
The path of ALS is different in every single case.(as in Stephen Hawking) If Eric is even a real person, perhaps he progresses slowly. BUT- please- don't you think if this guy really had come up with a true formula to slow or halt ALS, that Doctor's would be prescribing it? The Doctor who left a "review" here... try to find him. I did. This is a scam and it's very sad. Eric is winning lots of money that's about it. The problem is, ALS already costs families their life savings and then some, so why should they give any to him. Do your own research- read forums where countless people tried this book and came up empty. The only people leaving positive feedback are either in on this scam or are also experiencing a slow progression. Everyone knows a healthier lifestyle will help you feel better- you don't need this book to figure that out. Eric is involved with making money by people buying products which he makes money on. That's the bottom line. So please- make a donation to a research lab so they can find a cure- don't give this guy your money.

pure fantasy for those hoping to find help
I sure wish this were possible for more than just the one-in-a-million miracle cases. Sadly, it's just not the case. ALS is a horrible disease. There is NO known cause, NO treatment, and NO cure. That is not going to change anytime soon, folks. The latest drug that seemed to prolong life a FEW months, has now determined to in fact shorten life. So... back to square one. The answer is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! We have got to get some money into research or we will never get anywhere with this disease. Look at how far we've come with Alzheimer's. We can do this with ALS, too. In the meanwhile, though, it's all about quality of life. Don't waste time with a bunch of drugs that will make you sick or treatments that MAY work - unless it's something fun like a massage!! Get out there, live you life to the fullest, and get your affairs in order. Yes, it's true that life can be extended if you go for the breathing tube and feeding tube, but it won't change that your body will still be paralized. So many people are afraid to spend their money on fun things as they might not have enough for their medical expenses. If nothing else, take your money and spend it 50/50 - half for fun, half for the store-house of medical equipment you will need while having this disease. There are some good health management tips in this book, but honestly, it's all a day late and a dollar short. By they time you've been diagnosed, you are well into this disease and it's too late to worry about what you've already done to that point. Eat, drink, and be merry, cause in the end, you'll want to know you LIVED while you could! My heart goes out to you.

A very help guide
From the point of view of being diagnosed with only a poor prognosis to expect, and no help from conventional medicine, this book is so helpful for someone who wants to live, and how to learn new ways, like alternative approaches, and dealing with new concepts, and learning how to explore new helps and hindrances to progress, like other peoples' expectations of impending demise to toxins to food quality, etc. A wonderful journey, and helpful in many ways to others facing serious illness. I'm so glad he wrote it. I loved learning with him, and look, he's way past the five year life expectancy limit!

Eric is Amazing
Eric is amazing. My DH was just dx with ALS. We have both read his book from cover to cover. He brings up many good points. Since we are just starting down this path, I can't say for sure what items will help us. However, we did adopt a mostly raw vegan diet. We are already seeing many improvements from that. We have also started on a supplement list very similar to Erics. DH is also set up to get his amalgams out and replaced. Eric is not the only PALS to recommend that as a help. In our book it can't hurt. We expect to beat this just as Eric has done.

Read with caution
The chapter endings and the end of the book were useful. The statement that Lyme disease is caused by a virus is outrageous...how does something like that get past an editor? I gave the book as a gift to a friend recently diagnosed with ALS and then was really embarrassed by this section. I just wrote her a note at that section...but it casts doubt on the other things that are stated.
