EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description By the year 2009, the impact of climate change will be noticed by all and a possible global crisis may occur - perhaps no later than 2025. This is in essence the message given by Spirit to Mia, during a channelling in 2004. The book explains that since global warming is man-made, humanity has no choice but to adjust its lifestyle, reduce its ecological footprint, and also restore the ecology in order to avoid possible catastrophic climate change.
Business plays an important role in resolving this climate crisis; if need be, industry may have to take the initiative and act without the support of their respective governments. It is clear humanity must implement crucial change immediately and protect Mother Nature at all costs! |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 2 reviews)
| CARE REQUIRED BY EVERY HUMAN BEING TO NURTURE OUR PLANET This book is an interesting combination of the issues of planetary change, new approaches in business as they relate to the future, and the shift in global consciousness required to rescue our ailing planet from further deterioration.
The material herein, channelled from Spirit, is a message to mankind of the importance of taking responsibility for the declining state of the planet.
This writing, inspired by Spirit, gives HOPE that the planetary problems can still be resolved and explains how it requires an effort by every individual. How long it will take will depend on how many people are working towards the resolution. It is a movement of growing momentum, especially for people who are willing to take personal responsibility.
The author explains the importance of applying the principles of CARE into our lives; to begin to exercise care and concern for our planet, for each other as human beings and in the business environment. The concept of Care begins in our home and family, extends to our work place - colleagues, employees/employers - then expands to a caring for the planet and its resources.
She emphasises the possibility of future planetary disasters, should mankind continue to abuse the planet's resources and function purely for personal and financial gratification.
It offers an expanded view of things that are currently happening everywhere on the planet, such as increases in atmospheric pollution, over-consumption of planetary resources, land degradation and soil erosion, deforestation, growing consumerism and dumping of huge quantities of unwanted products, increases in world population.
These factors are currently causing a build-up of geological and ecological stresses on the earth's crust, causing overall structural imbalances to the planet's foundation blocks. Should these be allowed to continue at the current rate, we may be in danger of a global catastrophe.
Humanity is already experiencing many upheavals in terms of treacherous weather events all over the world, and needs to understand these on a planetary level in terms of how the future will be affected.
This is a very powerful and thought-provoking book that I would recommend to anyone who is wishing to do their part in contributing to the rescue of our beautiful planet.
June 09, 2008 | | A Planet in Crisis Book Review: New Concepts for Business and Humanity
This book is about a set of predictions that the author received late in 2004 relating to the impact humanity is having on the environment and the consequences of this for the planet and all of humanity. New Concepts for Business and Humanity emphasizes that by the year 2009, the impact of climate change will be noticed by all and that a global crisis may develop within the next 20 years.
Reducing our impact on the environment to avoid a possible global calamity is of the highest priority. The book emphasizes that as global warming is man-made, humanity has no choice but to adjust its lifestyle, reduce its ecological footprint, and also restore the ecology in order to avoid possible catastrophic climate change.
While the aspect relating to business is not in my field, the book explains that business plays a much greater role than is currently understood and that it needs to implement business plans that support the environment and implement principles of care.
Extreme weather conditions are now becoming a regular event here in Australia as in many other parts of the world. Mild regions are now experiencing more extreme temperatures; severe storms, winds, hail and flooding rains are becoming part of a new and disturbing climate pattern. I am not an expert on climate change, however, these extreme weather conditions are now becoming a regular event - as was predicted in 2004 when the contents of this book were first given to the author.
The message of this book is clear. Humanity has no time to lose in beginning to restore the environment, change its lifestyle and mindset to halt the disastrous consequences of continuing climate change
The final words written by Mia den Haan in this courageous book say it all:
"Without the human race, the planet will always continue to survive.
Without the planet, humanity will not."
