CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 2 reviews)

Nice book
This is a very nicely planned book that shows asterisms that the author has identified. For each asterism, the book show progressively more magnification to help the reader reach the proper location. The pages water resistant and heavy which is great for night time dew. It's bound by plastic rings so that the book lays flat without difficulty.

I was just a little disappointed that some of the more familiar asterisms are not included. Most come from the authors imagination. Still, it helps the reader have planned targets for viewing and learn the sky better.

For the intermediate observer
I saw a copy of this book at a star party and had to have it. I'm not a novice exactly, but I'm still trying to find my way around in the sky and a book like this, which identifies (mostly) unnamed groupings that look like they ought to be something is very helpful. I also found the layout of the book a delight and will model my observing log after it. The book has spiral binding and waterproof pages - so it's suitable for field use.
