Storm Chasers, On the Trail of Twisters
The subject matter of this book was very well researched and presented to the reading audience.

Great Book for children interested in weather
There are a lot of books for young people interested in weather. However this is the first one that ties this interest with storm chasing. I thought the book was so great that I have purchased one for a budding meteorologist who will love the focus on storm chasing. If you know of someone interested in weather in general this would also be a good book as it focuses on some of the most extreme weather experienced in the U.S. I wish this book was around when I was younger.

"This book rates an A+!"
At some point, almost every child becomes fascinated with tornadoes. Jon Davies has written an exciting and engaging book about twisters and storm chasers that makes learning about these awesome storms fun. Jon has earned a solid reputation as a chaser and researcher, and he brings his knowledge and experience down to a kid-friendly level. The artwork is outstanding and the information is top-notch. As a meteorologist who does a lot of classroom visits, I recommend this book to teachers and students alike. This book might also be a good choice for the child who has some insecurities and fears about thunder, lightning, and severe storms. Jon's storyline includes a child chaser who learns to appreciate the beauty and majesty of the sky, while respecting its power.

Outstanding book
Jon does a GREAT job bringing the hobby of storm chasing to children. Its amazing how many kids are interested in tornadoes and storms.

This is a first-ever book that I have seen that bring this great hobby to the level of children. Book is well written and easy to understand. As far as I'm concerned, this book should be on the shelves of every school library. My wife has already bought several copies for the school she teaches at!

Bravo!

Storm Chasing
I purchased this book for my grandson in Texas. He is very interested in tornadoes as you can imagine, he has seen his share of storms. This is an excellent book that describes everything a storm chaser does and explains storms and tornadoes and how they form. It provides a fun and informative approach to this subject. I highly recommend this book for young readers.
