EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Product Description
Risky behavior can be an expression of a normal, genetically influenced personality trait, sensation seeking. Its expression in risky behaviors such as extreme and risky sports, vocations, substance abuse, unsafe sex, and crime, among others, is the topic of this fascinating and accessible book.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 1 review)

Fantastic Resource for the Risk Addicted and their Therapist
Zuckerman builds on his earlier work around the Sensation Seeking Personlity and draws together the most recent research and case material to hammer his points home. More extensive connectivity between risk addiction and drug abuse is brought forth as well as new categrories of risky behavior. His Summary sections concluding each chapter are wonderful as they provide honest feedback on actual treatment results or the lack thereof. Pastors, therapists, and school administrators should read through this book to get a better understanding of what afflicts (or blesses) some of us. Well done Dr. Zuckerman.
