EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Product Description
Salvia Divinorum is a powerful shamanic plant medicine traditionally used by Mexican Curranderos (folk healers) for healing, divination and exploration of consciousness. In this book we take an in depth, insightful, and provocative look at this ancient plant and its newly discovered properties. For millennia, the secrets of this rare plant have been closely guarded by Mazatec shamans high in the mountains of Mexico. Rumored to have magical healing properties, this plant and its extracts have recently been introduced to the western market place.

less than satisfying
This author has basically taken information available anywhere on the web and from other books and released it as his own. This is the same guy who sells the lame 'Herbal Ecstasy' product, sheesh!
Stick with the Martin Ball book if you want to read something other than a compilation of other peoples research.

Excellent book - welcomed addition to my library
I have been studying Salvia divinorum for about five years now and still find this book an excellent addition to my library on the subject. This from a Salvia divinorum researcher who has produced several extraction methods for this plant which many vendors are still using to produce entheogenic products, such as Keith Cleversley of Chicago's iamshaman web site.
