CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 5 reviews)

The big picture
I had never heard of these cosmetic procedures except for botox. I never considered any kind of plastic surgery or cosmetic procedure because I've seen those women with their stretched-looking smiles after face lifts. I knew a few people who have had botox and I thought they were nuts. This book is clear and understandable and separates fact from fiction with no nonsense. Starting today I'm saving my pennies!

I finally did it!
I always wanted to try something to improve my appearance, but I never felt I had enough information on botox, or chemical peels or micro demabrasion, etc. to actually do anything. I had no idea which one would be right for me, and I didn't have a lot of time to do research. This book solved my problem by putting all the info I wanted into one very easy to read book with amazing pictures. The detailed descriptions of the procedures made me confident I really was ready to do something. Now, thanks to this book, I've had microdemabrasion, and it was just as easy as they said. I'm thinking of lip augmentation next. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in improving his or her appearance and wants to be informed quickly by experts who really know what they are talking about and can make you understand too.

Very informative
I found this book to be very helpful, especially if you are wanting to have some of these procedures done yourself. I especially liked the sections on lip augmentation--for example, I didn'tknow their were choices on temporary vs permanent filler materials. An around a good book. Easy to understand. Great before and after pictures.

Fascinating
I love this book. I had heard about a lot of these procedures, such as microdermabrasion and laser skin resurfacing, but I didn't really understand what they did or how they work. I have already had three sessions of microdermabrasion--it's wonderful. Thanks for a very informative book.

Out of date.
This book is unfortunately, out of date. New technologies are available that are not discussed. What there is is OK.
