This guide offers methods for growers who want to maximize the yield and potency of their crop. It explains the “Screen of Green” technique that gives a higher yield using fewer plants, an important development for American growers who, if caught, are penalized according to number of plants. The Cannabis Grow Bible is an authoritative source that features almost 200 color and black-and-white photographs, charts, and tables. With an emphasis on the day-to-day aspects of maintaining a garden and European expertise, this book ensures that growers will enjoy a successful harvest. |

| Great find!!!! This book was a great find! It has more information than pictures which is okay, it is very descript in its information and easy to read. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to further their knowlegde in this art. April 06, 2008 | | All inclusive: a true cannabis bible A truely excellent product. Don't let the title decieve you, the cannabis grow bible has plenty of information about other topics regarding cannabis such as the legalization debate. In the middle of the book are some vivid color photos on photo quality paper, another plus. This is the only book about cannabis you will ever need! December 02, 2007 | | Don't fear the reefer! Dis book will grow you da good ganj mon! Whaazup!? Is it 4:20 already? Time to wake and bake!
Being a young man with an abusive atheist father and a mom that ran out on me when I was 3, I have always had this huge void in my life. When I was a pup I would fill this void by stealing things and engaging in the destruction of other people's property!
In middle school I got violent. I would pick on the kids that were smaller then me and I was always getting into fights with the big-wigs of the school. I even hit a teacher once, dat bxxitch just wouldn't leave me alone about that homework!
That's all in the past though. Some of the other poverty-stricken kids that went to my school turned me onto this holy sacrament. It's been all good since then. Whenever I get sad about how horrible my life is, all I gotta do is sit back and puff.
Yeah, so that's where this book comes in. The more you toke, the more you're broke, hehe, yeah. So I got this book so I could grow my own private stash. The book told me everything I needed to know about growing wacky weed.
Unfortunately what it didn't tell me was that growing it was a crime! I am doin some time right now, but I'll make parole soon. I can't wait to get out and partake of sweet Mary Jane again though. Hey, puff puff give! Can I come over to you guys's place when I get out? Please? November 10, 2007 | | The Cannabis Grow Bible: The Definitive Guide to Growing Marijuana for Recreational and Medical Use. By Greg Green The book has easy to understand, in-depth information. Chapter 18, "Important Cannabis Issues", is a must read for the Entire world! September 13, 2007 | | Let's you know what you're getting into... I've been writing about cannabis for years now and thought I should find out what's going on with cultivation. I do not have a green thumb and I've never really grown anything more complicated than a tomato. What I like about this book is the realistic appraisal of all the challenges related to cultivation. The details about coaxing the plant into existence are splendid. So many growing guides, websites, and magazine articles imply that the process is relatively effortless. It is not. Even when cannabis is re-legalized, I can see that this task is beyond me.
I was particularly struck by all the outrageous hassles that have nothing to do with the plant and everything to do with prohibition. Big sections on security, sea of green growing to keep the number of plants to a minimum, carbon filters for preventing the detection of odors...It's insane. I love that growers have shown such ingenuity and skill, but can't help wondering what they could have done to improve the plant itself if they hadn't spent all this time and energy on secrecy.
Users should read this book simply to further their appreciation of the plant and the cultivators. The book should also get them motivated to work for the repeal of prohibition because each section makes it obvious that cannabis could be better and cheaper if these horticulturists could devote their time to more important matters than avoiding detection.
Non-users should at least thumb through this book. If they can understand that cultivators are willing to endure the ridiculous irritations that prohibition creates, they will know that any attempt to legislate this plant out of existence is doomed to failure. June 09, 2007 | |
