Awesome ideas!
This book is a must-have for anyone working with pediatric special populations. It addresses many sensory-motor challenges these children face. The book is cleverly and easily categorized by themes--including holidays, methods of transportation, animals, and any events that kids find fascinating.

Suggestions for songs, gross motor, and fine motor activities are so helpful. The materials needed are often typical equipment found in the schools, or that can be purchased inexpensively.

Whether you're a teacher, aide, OT, PT, or a super parent, I highly recommend this book!

Wonderful book for preschool autism class!!
This book is jam packed with ideas for implementing a sensory enriched program for young children. It addresses the needs of children with sensory integration issues in such a way that the newest teacher or parent could easily understand. In my busy classroom I will be creating many new activities found in the themes section of the book. Thank you. This is just what I have been looking for!!
