EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Displacement-Based Seismic Design of Structures is a book primarily directed towards practicing structural designers who are interested in applying performance-based concepts to seismic design. Since much of the material presented in the book has not been published elsewhere, it will also be of considerable interest to researchers, and to graduate and upper-level undergraduate students of earthquake engineering who wish to develop a deeper understanding of how design can be used to control seismic response. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 1 review)
| Great book as usual!! This book is a must for practicing engineers, and graduate students interested in concrete structures. I have found this book to be an excellent reference for performing moment curvature analysis and force deflection plots. Furthermore, Dr. Priestley does an excellent job in comparing the current force design method, with a new displacement design method. February 28, 2008 | |
