From the supplier: An American Association of Critical Care Nurses survey discloses that the great majority of nurses are concerned with blood-borne infections they may receive from accidental needle sticks. Another major concern is insufficient health safety and risk prevention education. Occupational Health and Safety Administration guidelines to protect healthcare workers from infection by contaminated blood were highly praised, but only 50% of the responding nurses had been informed of them. Most nurses hold hospitals responsible for a safe working environment.
