From the supplier: Mikron Corporation Monroe's new VCP 1000 high-speed machining center is equipped with linear motor drives that can reach speeds of up to 30 m/min or 1,200 ipm. Standard VCP 1000s have high-speed spindle motors that reach 12,000 rpm, but may be purchased with 24,000-rpm motors. The machining center, which has XYZ axes of 1000 x 750 x 750 mm., features a coolant-through spindle, optimized weight distribution and vibration damping construction.
