From the supplier: A study used multivariate structural equation modeling on questionnaire results from a large cohort of male twins to assess the environmental and genetic factors in heavy smoking, coffee drinking and alcohol use. Results indicate that the most appropriate model has two independent sets of factors, one underlying joint heavy smoking and heavy alcohol use and the other underlying joint heavy smoking and heavy coffee consumption. Several hypotheses about environment and genetics are offered to explain the independent clustering.
