Product Description
Instead of turning your ex into a toad or casting misfortune upon your boss, focus on the good in life with this wonderfully illustrated collection of easy-to-follow traditional spells of the Romany people--also known as Gypsies--for good luck, love, health, and wealth.

The world's most popular fortune-telling techniques--crystal ball divination, tarot card reading, and palmistry--originated with the Gypsies, the supreme practitioners of divination and the mystic arts. This bewitching collection of their love charms and other "white magic" takes the form of a well-worn spellbook, filled with ancient Gypsy lore, and illustrated with previous owners' handwritten notes and mysterious keepsakes tucked between the pages. Many of these time-honored spells--to encourage good luck, to bring a lover closer, and there's even one to heal sick pets--have been passed down through generations, and all are easy to follow and use everyday ingredients such as candles, flowers, and ribbons.

A delight to the eye, this lavish collection will both entertain and enlighten, and will bring love and luck to all those who believe.

Amazon.com Review
The Good Spell Book is a delightful little collection of Romany folklore, spells, charms, and cures that focus on the good things in life--love, luck, health, and happiness. The spells are simple and require only basic ingredients, such as a ribbon or a candle. This simplicity allows for a singular focus on the outcome of the spell, whether it's relieving a headache or finding a lost pet. With its rustic charm, The Good Spell Book stands out from other spell books; it looks like someone's diary with flower petals, photographs, and even postage stamps stuck between the pages. Whether you read The Good Spell Book out of curiosity or to add happy spells to your own collection, you're sure to enjoy the feel of this well-crafted volume. --Brian Patterson

Facinating little book!
This facinating little book exceeded my expectations! It looks like a hand written copy. It is NOT about witchcraft or black magic, rather it's ancient Romanian Gypsy spells and rituals handed down through generations of word of mouth. Very interesting and not dangerous.

Cute with a bit of history thrown in
I got this book awhile ago and love it. It gives you all kinds of short spells to do. Why the Romanies did their spells and when. I found it enjoyable and nothing you couldn't find easily if you wanted to practice or do a spell.

A must have guide for witches
A great guide to have at hand. Well put together with the witch in mind. Anyone who practices spell work will love this book.

A must-have for your spellbook collection
This is a nice little book of practical Romany spells that I cherish in my collection of spellbooks. It has become my first point of reference for a quick, simple spell. And they work! I generally practice candle-magic and the love spells using pink candles and charms worked particularly well for me. I found the love of my life and have been happily married for almost two years! The small size is manageable and the cloth cover is comfortable in my hands. The ribbon bookmarks are a charming (and useful) feature. It is an attractive book and easy to understand. My only criticism is that the book isn't long enough! Great for beginners as it utilizes simple items you might find around the house. As with all spell-casting, just remember to be careful what you cast for.

Informational, fun, good read book.
This is a beautiful little book that you will love even looking over and seeing on your shelf. It throws in some history, and spells. I love how it give you spells and explains where some of the things come from.
