After taking off my sunglasses late in the day, I had the pleasure of having a small insect fly into my right eye. While it did more damage to the insect than to me, it was an uncomfortable feeling. That's what prompted my purchase of the Response sunglasses, and I've been quite happy with them. As they days are getting shorter, my morning commute is now in the dark, and my evening joyride tends to finish as the sun is disappearing. These sunglasses are very lightweight, well-ventilated and unobtrusive. I highly recommend them.

Nice and light. Good airflow. Comfortable. Fogs slightly when stopped on humid days. Top of the frame can touch the brow on some people.

I bought these sunglasses to use while running. So far they've performed well. They fit well and do not fog easily. There is a lot of humidity in Georgia during the summers and fogging is a real issue for me. That is one of the reasons I bought this pair of sunglasses. From that point I am very satisfied.
Until this point, I had never tried photochromatic lenses. I thought I'd try them since I often run in environments that have both sun and shade and I don't like tripping over roots because my sunglasses are too dark. With the Optic Nerve I have really good vision in the shady areas; however, the lenses do not darken as much as I'd like in the sun. Because of this, for driving, I definitely prefer my non-photochromatic sunglasses.
