These socks are shown pulled way up over the knee, but at least on me they slip down to just above the knee pretty quickly. They still look cute over contrasting tights and under boots, but don't expect them to be true thigh-highs. People looking for good thigh-highs that really stay up should try the American Apparel polyester ones, although they are a bit thicker than these.

These socks are pretty, fun, and fit even those of us with somewhat more muscular than average calves... but they do have a tendency to roll down at the thigh. Folding the top down an inch or so stops them from rolling down, but is not very attractive. I'm not sure if they're long enough to be worn with a garter belt, but I'm going to invest in one anyway and see if that works.
