In the upper right side of the sky (and the ladybug’s wings), is Canis Major (The Greater Dog), which hosts the brightest star in the sky, Sirius, at a point in the dog’s neck. Right next to Canis Major is Cepheus, a little house with a pointed roof. In the lower right quadrant of the sky, Pegasus -- the winged horse -- is visible. He is easiest to find by locating the square that makes up the center of his body first. On the south side of the sky (between 6 and 7:00), viewers can see two stick figure people. These are Gemini, the twins. And, finally, the best known constellation -- The Big Dipper -- can be found at 9:00. This is really two constellations in one as The Big Dipper makes up the tail end of the constellation Ursa Major, the Big Bear. My 2.5 yr. old daughter LOVED this when she received it as a Christmas present last year. It made her room "magical" looking every night and we liked the fact that it turned itself off after 45 minutes. Almost one year later - ALL THREE LIGHT BULBS BURNED OUT, and there is no way to replace them. The turtle is completely useless and our daughter, who is now almost 3.5 yrs old, is devastated. We could not be more disappointed that they made a comfort toy for children that does not have a way to REPLACE THE LIGHT BULBS!!! What's next? Making toys with non replaceable batteries?

I got this on Christmas of 2008 for my than 2 year old son. It's gone through much of what you would expect from a toddler. It's been dropped, stood on, thrown, kicked, you name it. I thought it was broken (because it should have been) a few times, but it still works well and looks great. We have switched to using rechargable batteries because my son uses it so much. I've seen him singing to it while pushing it's light buttons and slowly nodding off. If it ever does break, I'll gladly buy it again! I still look in awe at the stars it throws onto the ceiling at bed time.

I bought this for my 2 yr old daughter a few months ago. I paid $30.00. It is a great product, well made and my daughter loves it. It helps her sooth at night and she loves the book that comes with it. BUY IT! It is great. I read some reviews saying the lights were not bright enough...change the batteries.

We got the Twilight turtle for our 2 y.o. son, and he absolutely loves it! He is mesmerized by the stars, and not only sleeps with the turtle at night, but takes it to bed with him at nap time as well. There are 3 colors to choose from: amber, green, and blue. Although, amber stars are not very visible. I love that it shuts off after 45 min. to save the battery life. I also like that it runs on batteries, so there are no cables for my son to mess with.
