| Not the book I thought it was going to be.. by C. Dooley (Birmingham, AL USA) 1 Stars November 04, 2009 This book is good for someone who is trying to figure out if they have a thyroid problem or not, but wasn't good for me - I have known I had thyroid issues for over 14 years now. I was really hoping for a book that would tell me what foods were good to eat and which ones to avoid for my Hypothyroidism. This book really didn't help me at all. A good majority of the book talks about how to discover whether you have a problem with your thyroid or if it is something else and how to talk to your doctor about it. The rest of the book does have eating recommendations, but they are based on a wide variety of other plans. For instance, the book mentions "experimenting" with different eating plans to find out what works best for you and she goes into giving you guidelines on low fat diet, low carb diet, low calorie diet, low sugar diet, etc. All this information I knew before purchasing this book.
| | Worth It!!! by Lois A. Peters 5 Stars September 13, 2009 I am very happy I purchased this book. It is a world of information..
| | Thyroid Diet by Theresa Franco (NorCal) 5 Stars August 30, 2009 Contains beneficial info I have not found elsewhere. Easy to understand medical explanations to the endocrin system. I would recomend to any who has a thyroid imbalance.
| | Good by Yonna J. Davis 2 Stars July 15, 2009 I expected more info from this book. Should be for people who have just found out that they have hypothyroidism, I already knew the majority of the contents of the book.
But quick service, thank you.
| | Jack Bauer at his Best by Caroline A. Harris (Vermont) 5 Stars July 01, 2009 I keep expecting to be disappointed with eah new series but I'm not. Great seeing Tony again!
