EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description At first glance, as long as you are at least a hundred feet away and see them from the back on a dark autumn evening when it's raining, the Floods look like any other family. They aren't. |

| From J. Kaye's Book Blog by J. Kaye Oldner (http://j-kaye-book-blog.blogspot.com/) 5 Stars February 18, 2009 If you mixed the Munsters with the Addams family, the end result might be the Floods family. They aren't your typical neighbors. For one, they eat bugs and eyes - all kinds of eyes, frog's especially. They are a family of wizards and witches and the neighborhood is afraid of them. In reality, they are actually kind.
Now meet the Dents. They are the new family who moved in. Although they look normal, compared to the Floods, the Dent are horrible neighbors. Now the Floods will have to figure out a way to get rid of the Dents once and for all.
The book is cool, but in a gross way. I plan to continue on reading this series. The next book is The Floods #2: School Plot.

When Betty decides to use the Floods' magic to help Ffiona and her family, you can bet that even they...

| My Pants Are Haunted! (Dear Dumb Diary, No. 2) by Jim Benton (Author)
They were just a soft, ordinary pair of thrift-shop jeans until Jamie Kelly tried them on . . . Then they became a tight, scratchy, slightly smelly, and utterly ordinary pair of thrift-shop jeans with an embarrassing haunting problem. Do the pants have the power to soothe a vengeful beagle, vanquish The Prettiest Girl in the World, or make the wearer irresistible to the eighth cutest guy in the grade? Are the haunted pants so dazzling they can hurt and maybe permanently damage the eyes of...

| The Short and Incredibly Happy Life of Riley by Colin Thompson (Author), Amy Lissiat (Illustrator)
Human beings live for quite a long time and for a lot of that time we are not happy. We want to be taller, shorter, fatter, thinner, older and younger. We want our straight hair to be curly, our curly hair to be straight and our brown eyes to be blue. We hate our parents, children, teachers, students and everybody. We want to be somewhere else with someone else, eating something else and wearing something fantastic no one else can afford, and we want to splash them as we drive by in our big red...
