Lamm (The Virility Solution, Thinner at Last), a practicing internist and expert on male sexual health, insists there is a direct link between the quality of a man’s overall health and the quality of his erections. Just as physicians can measure a patient’s blood pressure and percentage of body fat, Lamm claims he can measure the strength of a man’s erections (The Hardness Factor) using a new computerized device invented by a Spanish urologist. He is, therefore, not just interested in whether or not a guy can get hard during sex, but how hard. No wonder he’s such a popular guest on women’s talk shows like Oprah and The View. It is this ability to measure hardness that allows Lamm to argue it can be improved in six weeks. This is an excellent book overall. There is much, much more to treating erectile dysfunction than is in this book but this book does a nice job of covering some of the basics to getting guys back on their feet again. One of the best things it does is draw a strong connection between heart disease and erectile dyfunction, which is something that many males do not consider.

"Great book" A must read! Outstanding for a mans overall health! It's about time men take charge of their health and learn the signs of poor health! No one talks about things like this because its not cool well let me say this having lost a father to prostrate cancer at 59 years of age who never went to the Doctor....read, learn, exercise, eat right and take better care of yourselves go to the Doctor when you don't feel right or have questions! Don't be imbaresed! Your life may depend on it! Buy this book and educate yourself! It's for your health and the bedroom!

You could summarize the whole book in a couple of sentences. Loose weight. Get fit. Go walking. Take pycnogenol and l-arginine. And presto. It sure worked for me. And I thought it would take years! Glad I bought the book because it motivates more than the couple of sentences I just wrote.

The Hardness Factor : How to Achieve Your Best Health and Sexual Fitness at Any Age I posted this in the Sexual Form here on Amazon: Interesting post and I just want to say that my problems were much the same as you mentioned here. I was with a woman who claimed that I was less of man because of E.D. After parting with her I wandered for some time buying just about every self-help book or pill on the market. The folks who sponsor "Smiling Bob" got a chuckle when I told them that the candy Skittles did more for me than their expensive candy pills. LOL Who knows how I found the book: The Hardness Factor by Steven Lamm, M.D. and started following the six week program. I got it here on Amazon.com by the way (hint, hint). That book coupled with the purchase of a comfort bicycle and a lot of riding has made me quite a popular guy on the dating scene. It's not all about Viagra, in order for that to work there must be other things happening is what I found out after following the Hardness Factor. Protein is the worst enemy for Viagra and if anyone is trying to get the maximum result has to try not to eat much heavy food and no fried stuff on game day. At age 50 I am living with a new attitude and ability sort of like my late 20's where my phone now rings off the hook with ladies who want to date me. Trust me, I have just about every self-help book ever made for men and only a handful actually work. But if you follow the six week program there will be a definite improvement in your relationship and your only ups and downs will be between the sheets. Hope this helps you out a little bit and comes from a man who was there and now wonders what age will it all end, perhaps in my 70's ? That gives me another 20 years of this I guess and either way I'm keeping air in my bicycle tires and my copy of The Hardness Factor handy. TTFN

Nothing works better than the advice in this book. Other books offer something that might be temporary. This book offers practical advice(like walking) that will improve your health in the long run and less problem with erectile dysfunction. I tried the supplements to treat erectile dysfunction in Ritz's book and thought they were great but they soon did not work. This WORKS Forget the gimmicks.
