For everyone who loved this book, check out his newest one, "The Sisterhood of the Rose" The Sisterhood of the Rose, which draws on much of the material in "Fourth Reich" but adds in lots more WW2 conspiracy theories and facts in the setting of a novel (his first).

This book can best be summarized by quoting a few sentences from the inside cover. I quote, "The Rise of the Fourth Reich reveals the truth about American power...reveals the frighteningly real possibility that today the United States is becoming the Fourth Reich, the continuation of an ideology thought to have been vanquished more than a half century ago....... National Socialism never died, but rather its hideous philosophy is alive and active in modern America. Unfortunately, most people cannot understand the shadowy links between fascism and corporate power, the military, and our elected leaders."
This book thoroughly covers the parallels between America's ruling elite and political leaders and Hitler, with his ideologies and beliefs. It clearly states facts about the "Shadow Government" that exists in the United States. This books sites specific horrible acts of our own government. Times, dates, names, and actions are fully examined.
Because of this Shadow Government, we have lost our rights. Those who question the legalities and the ethics of these actions, are being told that they are against our country or the people that the government supposedly represents. We are even called Terrorists if we disagree or question those who are supposed to be representing we, the people. "Such opposition should be called what it really is: democracy, or democratic dissent, or having a critical perspective about what your leaders are doing. Either we have the right to democratic dissent and criticism of these policies or we all lie down and let the leader, the Fuehrer, do what is best, while we follow uncritically, and obey whatever he comands. That's just what the Germans did with Hitler, and look where it got them." (quoted from page 371).
We are now living with unprovoked wars of aggression and curtailment of individual liberties! I'm amazed at the information packed into this must-read book! Every American should read it and know what is really happening behind secret, closed, White House doors. We have given up all our freedoms for supposed safety from an unseen enemy. We live with daily media fear-mongering, which makes us give up more of our rights and cause us to beg for help from Father Government! More freedoms lost! The Constitution lost! Americans are under constant surveillance, tracked from birth to death! And still we cry, "Government will save us and protect us!" That isn't true! Without our freedoms, we are no longer a nation!
I highly recommend this book! An absolutely amazingly true read!! I'm surprised it was allowed to be published!

Marrs is a good writer writing a good read. My only criticism of this book is that it makes it difficult to draw a conclusion. The evidence presented is voluminous and startling, but like many books in this genre, it leaves more questions than it answered.
Also recommended: Rule By Secrecy, Fingerprints of the Gods, Catch-22

Who financed Hitler? Who financed the communists? Where did all that money come from? Where did all that money go?
Everyone should read this book. It (as they say ) "names names". Sadly the title of the book might put off people who think of it as weird conspiracy. It is not! It isn't to be read so much for the connection to the Nazi philosophy, as to see how the people, families, finances, personal connections, philosophies and actions of the leadership of the world today can be traced back to WWII and before. It is a thoroughly eye opening explanation of the key aspect and players that are shaping our world today, and how they are all interconnected.
He covers important areas, including the connections and interconnections of corporations and the people in them, as well as how they are each involved in the policies and changes in today's government.
He gives history on many of the major players as well as many you are not aware of all in the important fields of banking,as well as the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, educational businesses.
Power, control and profit! That is what it is about, and he shows you the hows, whys and the interconnections.
While Jim traces the origins of many of today's operating philosophies to the occult leadership of the third Reich, it may be more important for people to see the intertwining and integrated actions that are in our world today.
Interested in the origins of Ritalin?, The current school system? Water fluoridation? Who developed the atomic bomb first? The Vatican "ratlines"?
mid control? who really hated Kennedy?.....start reading. your eyes will be opened. You won't put this book down.
