A must-have book for anyone taking ultrasound boards! by J. Guglielmi (Michigan) 5 Stars
August 24, 2009
This was actually my second purchase of this book (first was an older version, loaned out but not returned!). The new one is great, includes information on fetal echocardiography that wasn't in the old. It had loads of questions you would likely see on your registries, along with a helpful explanation in the answer key. Definitely recommend!

This book will only confuse you. by Sonoprof (California, USA) 1 Stars

If you are studying for the RDMS test, don't waste your time studying using this book. If you had a good solid core understanding of ultrasound...you will find this book full of errors...it had too many errors that it was sometimes amusing and frustrating at the same time. This book will only confuse you if you are just at the starting point of your studying process. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Excellent review for ultrasound physics by L. Leslie (Southern NJ) 5 Stars
March 10, 2007
This book is a great investment for those preparing for the ARDMS Physics boards. It should be used along with a good physics text (such as Edelman's Understanding Ultasound Physics). Appleton and Lange's study guide provides a good REVIEW of physics; however, there is NOT enough material to study to fully prepare students to sit for the boards. The 500+ questions following the study guide provide the opportunity to APPLY knowledge. Explainations for most questions are offered in the answer section.

Good Review Book by A. Kellett (Georgia USA) 5 Stars

I found this book a good review for the registry. There are a lot of questions at the end of the book to review the material that is covered.

REVIEW BOOK by Cristi (FL - USA) 4 Stars

This book is fantastic. The only problem is that the whole abdomen review is in one chapter. So, when we have a test on only kidneys I need to go one by one & find only the kidney review questions. But on a good note, i love that they explain why the answer is "C", for ex. That's all!
