CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 7 reviews)
| Great study guide! by R. Diky (Las Vegas, NV) 5 Stars September 12, 2009 This book is a great portable version for anyone who is starting off in the ER.
| | Handy book for quick reference by Dr nurse (GA) 5 Stars July 21, 2008 This a handy book for a quick review, but is not very indepth. I have used it a good bit in the ED, but still rely on other references as well. The book is well written, size is good and has a few illustrations.
| | Excellent quick reference for EM Clerkship by J. Coomes (Louisville, KY) 5 Stars July 13, 2008 As a fourth year medical student, I carried this handy guide around with me during my EM clerkships. I found it to be extremely valuable as a quick reference before seeing a patient and as well as afterwards when I came up with my differential diagnosis and plan. The book seems to carry just the right amount of information. It contains enough to cover everything for reading during your downtime, but it's concise enough to quickly answer your diagnosis or treatment quiestions. More than once, I've been able to greatly improve my understanding of my patient before I presented to the attending MD. I even caught my fellow students and the first-year residents stealing my book for their own patients while I was seeing someone else! All in all, I highly recommend this to any resident or student on their EM rotation.
| | Handy book by Martin Muy Rivera (Seattle, WA USA) 3 Stars March 22, 2006 I purchased this book to back me up in my clinical year instead of carrying the big and great Tintinalli's "Emergency Med." I think this little version does a good job in giving a concise information on emergency medicine.
| | Good for rounds by Herman (Minnesota, USA) 4 Stars March 11, 2006 Great resource to have when making rounds. Didn't seem as indepth as I would like it to be in some places. Good refresher kind of book, with other resources handy for more indepth information.
