| Questions that you will find in a Test by C Tomas Gomez L (Tampico TAM MX) 4 Stars May 07, 2007 Just, It is a book with a bunch of questions and answers. Should be very useful to be ready for any Board Review.
It should be a good idea buy every revision published for self-update
| | Great quick review by C. F. Schierle 5 Stars November 27, 2006 Comprehensive overview of high yield facts for in-service and written board review.
| | Good for fast cramming by Gunnarsson (Norway) 4 Stars March 10, 2006 Quick but not detailed. Probably going to get better as it gets reviced more often. There are som repetitions and errors since its the first edition. It gets you the bare facts for the MCQ part of your exam fast and effectively. Lacking illustrations. Plastic surgery when it comes to op technique and anatomy is best solved by images since good illustrations can save a lot of lengthy texts. Could be made even more compact and efficient.
Nice idea. Will propably buy the revised new edition for continuing education.
| | Genuine Pearls of Wisdom by R. Mcnamara (Chicago, IL) 5 Stars December 21, 2005 A complete summary for anyone in the medical profession focused on plastic surgery - residents preparing for boards, fellows, and specialists expanding into the field. Drs. Lin and Hijjawi provide a helpful hand to those interested in understanding the facts from experts in the field. I'm looking forward one day to an expanded version with more pictures.
| | At last!!! by N. C. Wang (Latham, NY) 5 Stars December 21, 2005 Dr. Lin and Dr. Hijjawi fill a void with their much needed book. While primarily directed towards residents preparing for boards, it is also a useful resource for medical students on their plastic sugery rotations. It is both easy-to-read and informative.
