CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 4 reviews)
| Excellent Book by J. Van Heertum (Morristown, NJ United States) 5 Stars June 07, 2009 I had Dr. Chamberlain as my infectious Disease instructor. He is able to make a difficult subject both interesting and entertaining. The format of the book allows for a complete understanding of how infectious microbes effect different organ systems. Together with the easy to undestand text and fantastic color pictures, it makes for one of the best medical microbiology book on the market. Do yourself a favor and do not pass up this book...you will not regret it.
| | Great by Christopher Brown 4 Stars February 05, 2009 Great review of micro. Well organized and arranges the bugs in different categories and illnesses. highly recommended
| | Great Book, Bad Index by B. Stephens (Washington, DC) 5 Stars October 17, 2008 I received this book about a week ago to supplement my studying for my Medical Immunology and Microbiology course. This has been terrific at helping to clarify the lectures that my professors give. The only problem that I've found is that the Index is not always correct in terms of page numbers. If you are looking for something and can't find it on the pages listed in the index, look a page before or after (usually after) the page listed and you should find it. Besides that, I'm really glad that I purchased this book.
| | The Big B by Lauren Meyerson (chicago) 4 Stars September 13, 2008 Really great at giving a comprehensive review of everything needed to know for exams and the big B: Boards
