EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Product Description
Intended for use in undergraduate senior-level digital circuit design courses with advanced material sufficient for graduate-level courses. Progressive in content and form, this text successfully bridges the gap between the circuit perspective and system perspective of digital integrated circuit design. Beginning with solid discussions on the operation of electronic devices and in-depth analysis of the nucleus of digital design, the text maintains a consistent, logical flow of subject matter throughout. The revision addresses today's most significant and compelling industry topics, including: the impact of interconnect, design for low power, issues in timing and clocking, design methodologies, and the tremendous effect of design automation on the digital design perspective. The revision reflects the ongoing evolution in digital integrated circuit design, especially with respect to the impact of moving into the deep-submicron realm.

Unorganized mess of a book by DJ (USA) 1 Stars
October 04, 2009
This is a horrid, unorganized mess of a book. Trying to find a clean, clear explanation of fundamental topics is difficult. If you are able to locate what you want among the disorderly streams of text, the material is covered ok...but you will spend more time hunting for simple explanations. As a reference, this book may be acceptable. As a teaching tool, it is unsuccessful and frustrating.

I never received my purchase from this seller. I tried to contact them twice with email through Amazon and never received a reply. Do not use this seller.

I'm overall very satisfied with this purchase. I received a shipping confirmation from the seller, received it promptly after ordering, and the book was in good condition.

Bad printing quality, many typos by Kenyon Ralph (Del Mar, CA, USA) 3 Stars
December 31, 2008
The printing quality is terrible. A low quality publication for such a high price. It is like the foreign edition, no color. There are streaks of white across most of the pages, which make the text and pictures difficult to read. The book appears to have been eaten badly by the printing machine, because every page has the same crease pattern. Seems to be a decent text on digital MOSFET circuits. My professor spoke highly of it. However, there are MANY typographical errors. Ridiculous.
