CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 6 reviews)
| Excellent Study Aid! by M. Hart (Houston, TX) 5 Stars April 27, 2009 I love the Reviews and Rationales series of books and highly recommend them for all nursing students. After I go through my notes from class and the textbook, I use this book for review. It helps sum up all of the millions of pieces of information I have assimilated into one concise source. The review questions have proven to be extremely helpful in studying for exams as well. Similiar content questions have even appeared on our nursing school exams! I love the fact that they give you the rationale behind the answer and tell you how to reason your way to the answer if you are unsure. Each chapter has 20 questions, and then there are 30 more for each chapter on the enclosed CD. They are great for NCLEX prep.
| | These are helping me pass Nursing school tests by Temple Naff (Houston, Tx) 5 Stars January 06, 2009 These books are great. They outline everything without all of the fluff. The answers to the questions tell you which words to look for so you know how to answer those tricky Nursing test questions. They give you the rationales for the right AND wrong answers.
| | Great Buy by misspriss (Ohio) 4 Stars October 29, 2008 Psych is already hard enough, why stress yourself out more than you have to?! This book offers pre- and post tests, all with different questions, and gives you the main points you have to know. PLUS, if you're lucky enough to buy it with the CD included, you'll get not only the questions in the book, but a bit more at that. One thing I learned with psych class is to take notes of example story citations when the instructor gives them (helps differentiate the terms), then also hit up as many NCLEX-style psych questions as possible. This book helped me pass the class in very good standing.
| | Mental Health Nursing Reviews and Rationales by C. Veres (Hollywood, FL) 4 Stars March 08, 2008 I used this book for test reviews although I wish they had put more questions in it, I found that the rationales helped a great deal when figuring out what I got wrong and why I got it wrong. I would recommend this book to any nursing student that was doing the Psy rotations as a good test study aid.
| | Book by Tinkerbell (Charlottesville, VA) 4 Stars January 01, 2008 I didn't get to use this book too much. I bought it late in the semester. It was good though. I just recommend buying sooner.
