CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 32 reviews)
| Is not new as the seller claims by Leona P. Grosse 2 Stars March 02, 2009 I was told that the book is brand new but when it did arrive it was not brand new. I emailed the seller that I am about to write a review and that I am going tell the truth about his/her claim that the book is new and is not. The seller never replied, this is almost 2 weeks ago. I got another email from amazon that I should write a review, so I am writing this one. Please beware of this seller don't believe his words.
| | Excellent Service by J. Graham 5 Stars January 30, 2009 The service I received was incredible. Shipment was the next day and I received it within three days. An email was sent with a tracking number, being a student this was great to plan ahead since classes have started.
| | NIce read- if you're into that kind of thing by J. W. Alford (Las Vegas, NV) 5 Stars December 15, 2008 As far as textbooks go I find no faults with Brock. The book has a great level of depth and certainly covers such a broad subject splendidly. I'm finding it difficult to separate the book from the instructor I had but as I think about it I wish I had relied more on the text than on lecture notes. Since most people purchasing this text are force to buy it I'll speak to the minority of those just desiring to learn microbiology on their own and say that you're crazy and you should probably read Brock!
| | Great book for Microbiology by L. Cox (Paradise, Texas) 5 Stars September 06, 2008 I needed this book for Microbiology class. This book has great color diagrams that coincide with the reading material. It also contains photos of organisms under microscopes which also enables the reader to get the full picture of the learned material.
| | Brock Biology of Microbiology by Jessica O'neal (Ocean Springs, MS USA) 3 Stars August 30, 2008 This book involves valuable information I need for my college course, but I found that the binding was poor. The first few pages of my book came out after one time of reading.
