| Forced Failure by Allen Waddell (USA) 1 Stars September 08, 2009 I still have not recieved this item and it is well past the final expected due date I am going to be trying to get my money back as I was forced to drop the course that it was ordered for or fail. It is now a full month past the latest expected delivery date and I still do not have it.
| | Buy an older edition! by jason mcgraw (elgin, il United States) 2 Stars September 03, 2009 I am a community college instructor. I've used this text for years and it is great intro text. However, each new edition does not change considerably from edition to edition. The pictures improve and maybe two chapters will transpose, but, seriously, not much changes. My advice to my students and to you is to buy the 11th edition used for
| | EXCELLENT BOOK!! by Haley Forton 5 Stars June 15, 2009 This book was in excellent condition when I received it and was shipped fast!! There was no hassle and was overall an excellent transaction!!
| | Earth Science 12th Edition by Tiffanny A. Ramsey (washington dc) 5 Stars May 19, 2009 I ordered this text book and the next day it was shipped out, I recieved the book in about a weeks time. I would definately buy more products from this seller.
| | Excellent Introductory Text to Earth Science by Luis Figueroa (Palm Springs, CA USA) 4 Stars April 14, 2009 I purchased this book on the advice of a colleague at my high school. I am fairly new to earth science and have recently acquired several earth science related books. The Tarbuck and Lutgens book is clear and concise with high quality graphics. As part of the text you also get an interactive CD which goes over every chapter, and it includes quiz questions and answers. The CD is useful for going over selective material ( have used in a 9th grade Earth Science class). The book pretty much covers the standard material you would expect in an earth science text such as plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes, rocks, erosion, atmosphere, climate, weather, oceans, fresh water, introductory astronomy, etc.
