Product Description
Nuclear cardiac imaging refers to cardiac radiological diagnostic techniques performed with the aid of radiopharmaceuticals, which are perfused into the myocardium as markers. These imaging studies provide a wide range of information about the heart, including the contractility of the heart, the amount of blood supply to the heart and whether parts of the heart muscle are alive or dead. This is essential information for cardiologists, and nuclear imaging has become an increasingly important part of the cardiologist's armamentarium. Iskandrian's text has become a leading book in the field and the fourth edition will continue the tradition. The text is completely updated to reflect the many advances in the field, and, as a new feature, each chapter concludes with a Q&A session on important and difficult clinical issues.

book purchase by Cahid A. Civelek MD (USA) 1 Stars

The purchase experience was just horrible. Paid for next day delivery, but was informed -after purchase payment was made- that the deliver was scheduled for the next 4 days. When tried to cancel the order, I was told by the agent from India that this was NOT possible. The book I received was not in it's original package. I will NOT recommend this site to any one.

An excellent text book for clinicians by M. H. Al-shaer (TX, USA) 5 Stars

If you are looking for an easy to read and concise nuclear cardiology text book, then this is a book for you. I wouldn't waste my time reading the physics part ( get the Chandra book)but otherwise this is a superb book for the clinician. If you are a cardiology fellow setting for the nuclear cardiology boards you might want to consider using this book as your main text.
