CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 9 reviews)
| Still on the fence by Jessica (Austin, TX) 3 Stars June 27, 2009 Not at all an easy or fun read for the beginning/CF/intermediate clinician! The material contained within is invaluable but it's not a 'cover to cover' read. I generally use it as a reference tool. Most of the information is very dry. I preferred 'Motor Speech Disorders' by Freed, which was more engaging for me and came w/ a DVD. Good to have on the shelf but not more than that.
| | Motor Speech Disorders by Joseph Duffy by Kathryn Atkinson (Mt. Pleasant, MI) 5 Stars June 17, 2009 Book arrived quickly and in excellent condition and is a wonderful resource for speech-language pathologists working in the field of motor speech disorders. Strongly recommend this resource for graduate level preparation as well as for practicing clinicians.
| | THEY MAY SAY ITS "NEW" from AMAZON BUT ITS NOT by A. Cook (ohio) 2 Stars January 12, 2009 I purchased this book from amazon with the free shipping, the book is suppose to be NEW but the corner of this hardcover book was torn off, some "new" book. What a joke.
| | The Best by salomander 5 Stars September 07, 2008 Joseph Duffy is a superb thinker and he is able to translate his life work of motor speech disorders (MSDs) in an easy to read (fun and interesting but not too wordy or personal), informative manner. This is the best book for MSD's.
