Mandatory for aspiring Radiologists by incognito (USA) 5 Stars

Strongly recommended. If you devote the time to reading this book in its entirety (it would only take a few days) and perusing the Student Consult site and Learning Radiology website, you will without a doubt honor any Radiology rotation and dazzle your attendings. That is my firm belief. Kind of busy right now, will adjust this review later, but I did want to begin it and place 5 stars on this book. I also recommend Radiology Recall for medical students looking to make smart comments on Radiology rotations. If you are not planning on entering Radiology, you may want a superficial guide such as First Aid Radiology. I write this from the perspective of a current 4th year med student.

Overall is good by ER NP (Omaha, NE) 4 Stars

This is a good book for beginners. I was however looking for something that spent more time on ortho films and this books spends the majority if the chapters on chest and abdominal fims.

Thumbs up from a rads resident by Naveed Khan (Virginia) 5 Stars
October 19, 2008
As a current radiology resident in Virginia, I have checked out this book at the bookstore and its way better than the book we have traditionally been teaching our med students from (Squire). This is the same author as the website Learningradiology.com which has alot of this material online for free. We basically teach our medstudents off of Learningradiology.com. So if anyone was wondering what they should be reading for a rads elective- its this book, or at least the website.
