Good Text by Lauri Whitney (Flagstaff, AZ) 4 Stars

This book was required for my dental hygiene class and everyone else bought the newer 7th edition, but I got by just fine with this one and they really are not that different.

Great book - dont buy from Caymen by J. P. Jansen (Greenwood, IN USA) 4 Stars
March 05, 2009
This is a great text; however, amazon needs to be a bit more selective who they let sell things on this site. Caymen is aweful - sent me an empty box. I had to jump thru the hoops to get a refund and purchase the book elsewhere.

Not for everyone, not anymore! by Samir Dauahera (Chicago, Illinois) 3 Stars

A little bit out-of-date in the way body systems are reviewed in the Center (body) part of the book. Principally, the single section that I found valuable throughout my Dental school was the summary review of systems that is offered at the front of the book, which worked as a fast reference (basically, I tore that section off from the rest of the book!). Nevertheless, it might still work in a better way when it comes to being used by some residents in certain fields like that of surgery, GPR, AEGD, and so forth where they need to go over the boring center (body) of the book.

a great and helpful book by K. Sh. 5 Stars

the book helped me in my training practice since i am a dental student. it listed in a very clear and simple way the special measures i must take when treating a patient with a medical condition. and the summery table in the begining of the book, is a quick and easyly understood resourse.

Horribly out of date now by FeyMeridian (Portland, OR) 2 Stars

This book may have been okay when it was published but using it as a text in 2007 is a big mistake my instructor really regrets. There are many other guides that are lower in price and have more concise and up to date information available. Do not waste your time with this one. Many of the descriptions are ambiguous and hard to follow.
