CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 5 reviews)
| good book by Dominique Mall (los angeles,ca) 4 Stars September 25, 2007 I have trained with one of the doc that wrote a chapter in this book and also used it during my fellowship. It is a pleasant book to read.I liked the contents that is vey informative and relating the important info you need for boards but some chapters will need some deeper info.Still lighter weight that the B-----r.
I recommend it but I will complement it with some additional info especially in acid base department.
| | Excellent reference book for training nephrologists by Marios Prikis (Portland, OR USA) 5 Stars March 30, 2006 This is an extremely useful book that is an asset for every training nephrologist but also as a reference to anyone involved in Nephrology. Well organised chapters and excellent illustrations. Accompanied by a CD-ROM that carries all the figures that can be used for presentations. I would strongly recommend it.
| | Excellent reference book 5 Stars September 03, 2003 This is the definitive reference book for all things renal - pictures and illustrations are excellent. Recommend the most recent 2003 addition.
| | Very relevant and practical, yet sophisticated 5 Stars November 22, 2002 The Feehally book is an outstanding book for any fellows preparing for the Board Exam and for any nephrologist who wants to update their knowledge. Every page is covered with colorful and very useful diagrams. The text is concise, unlike the books by Brenner or Schrier. It hits the main points very much relevant to patient care.It also digs deeper (with easy to understand explanations) into physiology and pathophysiology. I was surprised to discover that much of the information is VERY up to date. Another point distinguishes this book from the others. While many other "cerebral-texts" get deep into the theories and mention nothing about the management, this book provides very direct input on relevant diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.A must for young nephrologist, whether preparing for the Boards or already deep into practice. Another good alternative to this book is the famous UpToDate program.
| | A long awaited reference for nephrology trainees 4 Stars March 27, 2000 A useful book for all nephrology trainees and practising nephrologist, with up to date contents and fully coloured illustrations diagrams. An indispensible tool to everyone caring for patients with renal problems.
