| | Excellent starting point for the study of quality and performance in organizations by Josh D. Nankivel (Sioux Falls, SD) 5 Stars September 19, 2009 I have the instructor's 7th edition. This text combines a fairly rigorous description of the various theoretical frameworks available in the field and a generous amount of case studies across public and private sectors and various industries. Anyone who applies themselves to this text will have a good feel for the discipline in general and a great launching pad for further study into specific philosophies, frameworks, and/or methodologies. It influenced much of my initial thinking on quality at pmStudent.
| | CD didn't work by Jumong 2 Stars September 07, 2009 The book was fine, but the CD had multiple spots of some gunk. The seller mentioned that the book came with the CD but never said the CD didn't work. I think he knew that there was something wrong with the CD b/c there was so many scratches and gunk on it my computer wouldn't even read it. And there was no way the seller could have not known about the CD b/c the CD pocket was re-glued, seemingly after multiple use. Do NOT buy from seller if you need the CD to work.
